Offering 'Caribbean food with a Latin twist via Ireland', Lil Portie is one of the most exciting eateries in Dublin.
We've been big fans of Nick Reynolds food since he first started Lil Portie, so we're very excited to hear that he is planning a Caribbean-style Sunday roast at The Fumbally Stables next month.
Nick's style of cuisine is a mish-mash of Caribbean cuisine (mostly Jamaican) with South American flavours and great Irish produce. Inspired by his mother's Jamaican heritage and his grandmother's hot sauces, Lil Portie serves up food that is hard to come by in many other parts of the city.
Nick's unique menus are available by reservation only at Two Fifty Square Coffee on Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays. While it was closed over Christmas break, Lil Portie is now back and running in Rathmines, with reservations available for this Friday, February 28th and Saturday, February 29th. To grab a booking for this week, email b[email protected].
The Lil Portie pop-up at The Fumbally Stables will take place on Sunday, March 8th at 5.30pm. We expect that this family-style dinner will combine certain elements of a traditional roast dinner with Nick's classic Caribbean flavours. Tickets for this exciting pop-up are on sale now and cost just €33 per person. We recommend you get yours ASAP because we expect that they will sell out soon!
