The top names in Irish hospitality joined us at the 2022 Food&Wine Restaurant of the Year Awards in association with Rémy Martin, which took place on Sunday, November 6 at The Round Room at The Mansion House, Dublin.
On the day, 450 guests joined us to celebrate the best of Irish food and drink in a sold-out event hosted by Food&Wine editor Gillian Nelis. The National Chef of the Year award went to Ahmet Dede, of Dede at the Customs House, Baltimore, Co Cork.
The Young Chef of the Year was awarded to Dan Hannigan of Orwell Road Restaurant, Rathgar. The Emerging Producer award, in association with Dunnes Stores Simply Better went to Bon Chocolatiers. The winner of the 2022 Food&Wine Restaurant of the Year was Aimsir at the Cliff at Lyons, Co Kildare. To see the full list of winners, click here.
At the event, guests were treated to a delicious meal devised by With Taste, with support from Kish Fish, Gahan Meats and HireAll, as well as cocktails from title sponsor Rémy Martin and delicious wines from O'Briens Wines trade and Gérard Bertrand.
No other event brings together the hospitality industry like the Food&Wine Restaurant of the Year Awards in association with Rémy Martin - it really is the highlight of our culinary calendar. After such a tough couple of years, we were delighted to be able to celebrate the best of the best at the ceremony.
