The best day of the year is almost upon us! This Sunday, November 7 2021, the Food&Wine Restaurant of the Year Awards in association with Rémy Martin will take place at The InterContinental Hotel in Ballsbridge, Dublin 4.
The event of the year will take place this Sunday and we can't wait. The 2021 Food&Wine Restaurant of the Year Awards, in association with Rémy Martin, have been a long time coming - we had to postpone the last year's ceremony due to the coronavirus pandemic, so we're delighted that the event will take place this year at The InterContinental Hotel in Ballsbridge, Dublin 4. Many previous iterations of the Food&Wine Awards have been held in this stunning five-star hotel and head chef Alberto Rossi's food never disappoints.
Everything you need to know about this year's event
Tickets for this year's awards are completely sold out - they were purchased in record time! - so for the lucky guests that will be in attendance this Sunday, the event will kick off with a pre-lunch cocktail at 2.30pm. Upon arrival, guests will be required to show their tickets, as well as proof of Covid-19 vaccination or recovery. Guests will first enjoy a delicious Rémy Martin cocktail before being welcomed into the ballroom. Throughout the afternoon, Food&Wine Magazine editor Gillian Nelis will reveal the winners of this year's Restaurant of the Year Awards while guests enjoy incredible Gérard Bertrand wines and a delicious multi-course meal prepared by head chef Alberto Rossi and his team at the InterContinental.
The dress code on the day is partywear with jackets recommended for men - we can't wait to see everyone in their gladrags on the day!
