Granola with live yogurt edit

Easy homemade granola

This recipe from Glenilen is great for breakfast.

Time: Less than 1hr
Difficulty: Easy


  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 125ml maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 300g rolled oats
  • Two large handfuls of oats
  • 50g sunflower seed
  • 4 tablespoons sesame seeds
  • 50g pumpkin seeds
  • 100g flaked almond
  • 100g dried berries 
  • 50g coconut

To serve:

  • Yoghurt
  • Berries or berry compote


  1. Heat an oven to 150ºC/fan 130ºC.
  2. Combine the wet ingredients with the oats, seeds and nuts and spread evenly across two baking sheets.
  3. Bake for 15 mins.
  4. Remove from the oven, and mix in the coconut and dried fruit
  5. Bake for another 10-15 mins. 
  6. Remove and scrape onto a flat tray to cool. 
  7. To serve, add some yoghurt to a bowl, top with berries and granola. Serve.
