We love it when one of our sister titles, in this case, U Magazine, gets involved in spreading the word about the amazing restaurant scene in Dublin. Editor Amy Heffernan and her team created an incredible 2019 Dublin Restaurant Hit List recently that we just had to share.
Of the things we love most in the world, food and organization come in high on our list. So, with that in mind, you'll understand our appreciation of this new colour-coded spreadsheet, updated with Dublin's newest and best-loved restaurants.
You are all probably familiar with the older version, blocked in with primary colours, that did the rounds in 2017? Well, fast-forwarding two years and taking into account Dublin's ever-vibrant and explosive food scene, we thought it was about time someone gave that spreadsheet a 2019 glow-up.
Broken up vertically by cuisine-type and colour-coded by location, the spreadsheet covers categories from the always-popular Brunch, to an impressive Sushi/Asian verticle, to well-recommended Vegetarian/Vegan options and of course, a best Burgers/Steak list too.
For those looking to save on lunch, they've included a long list of recommendations suitable for sourcing a cheap weekday lunch for under a tenner, including places like 147 Deli, Green Bench Cafe, GG's Philly Cheese, as well as a special shoutout for the LEON chain, which will be coming to Dublin this Spring.
And for the loved-up few amongst us, even those insisting on going out for dinner on Valentine's Day, the spreadsheet's even got a ranked Date Night Top 10, perfect for those looking to take the stress out of choosing somewhere to go.
