The Dublin Flea Christmas Market kicked off yesterday and we can’t wait to get down and take a look at all the stalls!
We already told you how excited we were about some of the stallholders (White Mausu, get ready for us!) but in case you’re looking to do your Christmas shopping at the Flea, we have a gift guide to help you out.
Founded in Dublin by Clare, Chocolatey Clare produce dairy-free chocolates with delicious flavours, including salted peanut, lemon crunch and ginger crisp. The chocolates are all vegan, dairy-free and gluten free, so they’re an ideal gift this Christmas. Prices start at €3 for a bar of Clare’s chocolate and go up to €25 for gift boxes.
Looking to add something delicious to your next cheeseboard? Corleggy Cheese products are just what you need. These award-winning cheeses have been produced in County Cavan since 1985 using raw milk from locally grazed herds of goats, sheep and cows. The only added ingredients are vegetarian rennet and salt, ensuring that Corleggy cheeses are all naturally delicious.
The Hungry Crow
Started by Niamh O’Reilly in 2015, The Hungry Crow produces a range of vegan, dairy free, grain free and refined sugar free snack bars and treats. On sale at the Dublin Flea Christmas Market will be Niamh’s nut truffles, soft-centred chocolates and cakes, which can all be bought individually or in gift boxes, perfect for Christmas gifts.
Intelligent Tea, which was set up in 2014 by chef and herbalist Freda Wolfe, is an ethical Irish tea company. Freda works with Irish producers to create her teas, ensuring they are all sustainable and of an extremely high quality. Freda’s range, including her Hangover tea, Up the Duff tea and Sinus Soothe tea, will all be onsale at the Flea, alongside some gorgeous handknit tea cosies. We’ll take ten please!
The Wooded Pig
If you need some charcuterie to go with your wine and Corleggy Cheese (which sounds like the perfect night in to us!), look no further than The Wooden Pig. Made from free-range pigs raised in Tara, Co. Meath, The Wooded Pig charcuterie is made using traditional continental curing methods with an Irish twist. Aisling McElwain Ceramics
In our eyes, there is nothing more beautiful than a perfectly crafted plate. That’s why we think Aisling McElwain Ceramics products would make the perfect Christmas gift. Priced from €5-€70, you can buy Aisling’s products this weekend at the Dublin Flea Christmas Market.
