Patrón's perfect margarita recipe

The brand will be hosting events in Dublin and Cork tomorrow to celebrate World Margarita Day.

Did you know that there is a whole day dedicated to margaritas?

One of our favourite drinks is to be celebrated in all of its glory tomorrow, Saturday February 22nd 2020, as it's International Margarita Day.

We can't think of a better way to enjoy a Saturday than to kick back with a margarita or two. We have a perfect Patrón margarita recipe below, but if you don't fancy making your own, the tequila brand is hosting a few margarita events around the country to celebrate International Margarita Day.

Patrón has created a range of bespoke cocktails that will be available in both El Silencio in Dublin and Tequila Jacks in Cork all-day tomorrow to celebrate margaritas and tequila.

The four cocktails available include a classic margarita made with the perfect blend of Patrón Tequila, fresh lime juice and orange liqueur, as well as Tommy's margarita, which is made with Patrón Reposado Tequila, fresh lime juice and agave syrup. You'll also be able to try a margarita spritz, which is a lighter cocktail created with Patrón Silver Tequila, Martini Fiero, citrus, agave and soda water, or the T&T, which is tequila and lemon tonic.
