How to make the perfect Negroni, because you deserve it

If it's good enough for Stanley Tucci, it's good enough for us.

The beauty of this rendition? It calls for three ingredients — a level of simplicity we like in our at-home beverages.

The Negroni is, quite simply, a perfect cocktail. Maybe it’s the perfect cocktail. With equal parts Campari, gin, and sweet vermouth, it couldn’t be easier to make, proving that, like Destiny's Child and Musketeers, the best things really do come in threes.

Intended to be sipped on a hot day, it gives you a certain continental sophistication. Bitter, sweet, dry, and refreshing all at once, this poppy-coloured cocktail has developed a reputation as a summer mainstay, but the truth is there’s never really a bad time to whip one up. Just ask Stanley Tucci.

  • 1 orange

Method

  1. Pour the Jawbox Gin, Campari and Martini Rosso into a mixing glass and stir together with ice.

  3. To create the twist to garnish your cocktail, use a peeler to peel around the circumference of the orange and then using your hands create a spiral – the peel should hold this shape.
