Lyre's Amaretti Sour

Australian brand Lyre's recently brought its range of alcohol-free spirits into Ireland.

If you're a fan of amaretto, or almond flavours, this amaretti sour cocktail will be right up your street. 

Ingredients

• 2 1/2oz Lyre's Amaretti 
• 1/2 oz lemon juice
• 1/4oz white sugar syrup (1:1)
• 1/3 egg whites or, for a vegan version, aquafaba 
• 3 dashes aromatic bitters

Method

1. Rapid shake with ice, and strain into an old fashioned glass full of fresh ice cubes
2. Garnish with a lemon wedge and a maraschino cherry
