As part of Spanish Wine Week, Monday, April 8th to Sunday 14th, we have an exclusive competition to give away tickets to one of their fabulous events in WILDE at The Westbury.
While winemaking may often seem like a male-dominated industry, there are in fact a lot of women making wine and working in the industry at large. For example, in Ireland, Lynne Coyle is a Master of Wine (one of only a few in the country) and is Director of O'Briens Wines.
Quite aptly, Lynne will be hosting a special evening event with Alicia Eyaralar of Bodega Tandem to highlight five wines made by women, taking place next week on Wednesday, April 10th in WILDE at The Westbury.
The Female Wine Maker’s Dinner with Lynne Coyle & Alicia Eyaralar at WILDE at The Westbury will comprise of a fascinating five-course dinner exclusively focused on female Spanish winemakers and will explore five wines made by these women – three from Bodega Tandem in Navarra and two by Cristina Bernedo from Conde de Valdemar in Rioja.
Tickets are €59 per person and the evening starts with a Cava reception at 6.30pm, followed by dinner at 7pm. Contact WILDE at the Westbury directly to purchase a ticket by calling (01) 646 3311.
