The Conrad Dublin
The Conrad Dublin will welcome residents and non-residents to the hotel for a four-course dinner at the Coburg restaurant, followed by live music in Lemuel’s. Priced €75 per person, dinner will include tempting dishes such as a country-style terrine, 42° citrus salmon or surf and turf with John Stone fillet of beef and lobster ravioli, followed by an Irish cheese selection, a chocolate fondant or a steamed meringue before the midnight hour.
To make the evening one to remember, the Dublin hotel is offering a package for New Year’s Eve, with accomodation, breakfast and dinner on December 31st from €295 per person sharing.

Stack A Restaurant at Urban Brewing, Dublin
On New Year’s Eve, Stack A Restaurant at Urban Brewing on the Dublin Docklands will serve a special tasting menu paired with selected wines and beers, including their own seasonal brews.
Created by head chef Dan Keane, the six-course menu will reflect the restaurant’s signature style of locally-sourced Irish ingredients with globally-inspired flavour combinations. Diners can expect dishes such as salt-baked celeriac, celeriac mousse, remoulade, autumn truffle and lovage paired with Urban Brewing Bière de Table or 2016 Château Pesquié “Le Paradou”, France; haunch of Glenmalure venison, red cabbage, spiced wine, blackberries and chocolate malt bread paired with Urban Bière de Noël or 2005 Vina Tondonia Reserva, Tempranillo blend, Rioja Alta, Spain; and spiced pumpkin, pumpkin mousse, praline and O’Hara’s Imperial brûlée paired with O’Hara’s barrel-aged Leann Folain or 2010 MF Richter Veldenzer Elisenberg Riesling Auslese, Mosel, Germany.
The New Year’s Eve tasting menu is priced €59 per person, with an additional €24 per person for accompanying beers, and €39 per person for accompanying wines.

10 Fleet Restaurant at The Morgan Hotel
To end 2019 on a tasty note, The Morgan Hotel’s 10 Fleet Street Restaurant will serve an eight-course tasting menu on New Year’s Eve, prepared by head chef Brian E. Meehan and his culinary team.
After a glass of Prosecco, the dinner will include a slow roast tomato & thyme soup, grilled hake fillet, duck liver and port parfait with cranberry and pink gin chutney, slow-cooked pork belly or a mulled wine poached pear served with dark chocolate sauce and shortbread biscuit. After this feast, guests will be able to enjoy live music from The Address in 10 Fleet Street Bar. The eight-course tasting menu is priced €65 per person.

The Intercontinental Dublin
The InterContinental Dublin will offer a special five-course New Year’s Eve menu at its Seasons Restaurant, overlooking the twinkling lights of the inner Courtyard Garden. Two seating options are available, at 6pm/6.30pm for €95 per person or €145 per person with wine, or a late seating at 9pm, 9.30pm or 10pm for €135 per person or €185 with wine.
From 6pm, diners will be able to enjoy live entertainment from a jazz trio, until the countdown at midnight. The Lobby Lounge will host live music from 10pm to 1am, while a live DJ will play from 8pm until late at the ICE Bar.

The Roaring 2020’s at The Liquor Rooms
The year 1920 saw the introduction of Prohibition into America and the dawn of the speakeasy, the illicit drinking venues that became the home of parties and socialising during the thirteen-year alcohol ban. To mark the beginning of the new decade, The Liquor Rooms will bring the party spirit of 1920 into the year 2020. Early bird tickets are available for €10 or for €15 on the door.

The Morrison
To finish the year on a high note, The Morrison on Ormond Quay will welcome guests for a special three-course dinner. On the menu, expect Castletownbere scallops with O’Neill’s black pudding, pancetta and celeriac bisque, prawn pil pil with Gubbeen chorizo and homemade sourdough bread, salt and moss-aged ribeye steak with gratin dauphinoise and Cognac green pepper sauce, or a Teeling whiskey poached pear.
The evening will be followed by some dancing to the Luna Boys from 9.30pm, then finger food will be served from 11pm to keep energy levels up for the countdown to midnight. Tickets are priced €48 per person.

The Cliff House Hotel
The elegant Waterford hotel offers residential packages for New Year’s Eve and also opens the tables of its House Restaurant (one Michelin Star) and Bar Restaurant to non-residents.
At House Restaurant, Champagne and canapés will be served to start the night to the sounds of a jazz band. Then, the four-course menu will include the likes of cappuccino of Lismore chanterelles, potato ‘tsarine’ with caviar and crème fraîche, McGrath’s beef rossini with potato, truffle and green cabbage, or west Cork lobster Thermidor with heritage carrots and spinach. The dinner is priced at €145 per person.
At the Bar Restaurant, the relaxed New Year’s Eve dinner will be priced €65 per person, with a menu featuring chicken and foie gras with caramelised crème and brioche, black sole on the bone with stem broccoli and saffron mash potato, dark chocolate fondant with pistachio, or Savarin au rhum. After dinner, the celebrations will continue with dancing and music.

Greenes Restaurant
Greenes Restaurant in Cork is offering a locally-inspired tasting menu for this festive season, which will also be served on New Year’s Eve.
Created by executive head chef Bryan McCarthy, the menu showcases stand-out seasonal Irish produce, including local Cork ingredients such as Ballinwillin venison from Mitchelstown, Jack McCarthy’s black pudding from Kanturk, Twomey’s pork from Macaroon, Killahora rare apple ice wine and organic winter vegetables from Kilbrack Farm in Doneraile.

The Twelve
The Twelve Hotel in Bearna, Galway, offers a New Year’s Eve package from €245 per person sharing for a two-night break, including two nights bed and breakfast with a New Year’s Eve celebration in the award-winning West Restaurant.
The six-course gastronomic dinner is also open to non-residents, with the first sitting from 6pm to 7.30pm priced at €55 per person and a second sitting from 8pm for €95 per person, inclusive of bubbles and party on The Pins bar.
