Oliveto at Haddington House in Dún Laoghaire has put together what we deem to be the ultimate Mother's Day feast. There are three meal-kit options to choose from. Priced at €70 for two sharing, the Marvellous Mum option features a three-coure menu with a main course of glazed lamb shoulder. But if you want to make your mum feel extra special, there's a 'Queen of Mums' option which also features the three-coure menu plus cocktails for two and a selected bottle of red or white wine for €100 for two sharing. And for those with little mouths to feed, Oliveto has created a Children's menu to go alongside the Mother's Day meal kits so the whole family can celebrate together. Kinara Group, the award-winning middle eastern trio of restaurants is offering a collection-only menu this Mother's Day so your mum doesn't have to lift a finger – and neither will you! Priced 15 per cent lower than their usual sit-in prices, orders can be made by Whatsapp on March 14 and early orders are advised on the day. The menu and details of how to order are available here. But if you won't be there to enjoy this delicious offering with your mum, Kinara Group have come up with the clever idea of a 'IOU meal' which can be redeemed for both dine-in and takeaway services. It’s Mother’s Day on Sunday and if you’re still short on ideas for your mammy (or the mammy-figure in your life), M&S has a nice range of foodie gifts available. Top of our list is this cute and colourful Flower Power version of the ever-popular Connie the Caterpillar cake.
