China Sichuan is easily one of the country's best Chinese restaurants, serving up heaps of flavourful, authentic dishes.
As the Year of the Rat approaches, China Sichuan in Sandyford has announced that it will be offering a special Chinese New Year banquet menu from January 25th until February 9th. The rat is the most prized animal in the Chinese horoscope as it is known for its intelligence, cunning and industry, all of which are highly regarded traits in Chinese culture.
To mark this very special year, the good people at China Sichuan have whipped up an exciting banquet menu.

The menu, which is available for €65 per person, is jam-packed with delicious dishes to celebrate the Lunar New Year.
Each guest will get to try a range of special dishes including jianbao pan-fried pork buns, 'gold and jade bliss' steamed spinach and yam rolls, and longevity lobster noodles with homemade XO sauce, clams and langoustine. The menu also including dumplings, ribeye beef, 'New Year's fish' and a range of sides.
Pastry chef extraordinaire Karen Smith has created a special dessert called The Remy to round out the evening. Featuring dark chocolate, sesame, ginger and cognac, it's sure to help you ring in the new year with a smile.
