Nathalie Tollot from Domaine Tollot-Beaut will be hosting an evening of food and wine at Ukiyo on Wednesday, June 5th. Showcasing Burgundy wines from her family vineyard, Nathalie will highlight the prestigious region of Burgundy, as well as talking about her family's wine-making history.
The wines will all be matched with Ukiyo's signature Japanese fusion-style cuisine, featuring locally sourced Irish cuisine with an Asian twist. Guests can expect to see dishes like organic salmon tataki with sweet potato crisps and papaya purée, and breast of Barbary duck with soy lentil vinaigrette, fermented cherry and purple broccoli to feature on the delicious menu.

The connections between food and wine will be fully explored on the night, with organic and biodynamic farmer Trevor Harris on hand to discuss his Kildare Farm. Trevor, who farms livestock, grain and vegetables, will be highlighting how biodynamic principles have aided his method of farming. You'll be able to see some of his produce on the menu at Ukiyo on Wednesday, so you'll be able to taste the difference first-hand.
