Potterheads unite, Ashford Castle has launched a Wizard School to rival Hogwarts itself!
Ashford Castle, which is celebrating its 800th year of luxury hospitality, promises to transform its hotel and grounds into Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry for one week only this Halloween. From October 26th until November 3rd, the hotel will utilise its forests, passageways and turrets to hold Forbidden Forest treasure hunts, house elf cookery classes, a chamber of witchcraft and wizardry and visits with Dingle the owl.
The in-house cinema will also hold a Harry Potter movie viewing, including complimentary popcorn and sweets, so the little ones can wind down their magical day in style.
For big kids, there are a whole host of activities to enjoy while the budding witches and wizards are off learning their craft. With Wolfhound walks, tennis, swimming and autumnal walks on offer, parents won't be bored during this magical event.
Adults are also invited to enjoy an extravagant table d’hôte dinner at the George V dining room each evening. The dining room features Waterford Crustal chandeliers, a resident pianist and delightful dishes from executive chef Philippe Farineau, creating an exclusive magical experience for the grown-ups to enjoy.
This event is sure to enchant all those who attend, so get booking now. The Wizard School at Ashford Castle offers a two night break priced from €2,130.00 per Deluxe Queen room, which can accommodate two adults and two children under the age of 12 years.
